Nissan ordered to recall more than 2000 vehicles
The nation's transport authorities said Monday that it has ordered Nissan Korea Co. to recall more than 2,000 units of its luxury passenger sedan Infiniti for acceleration problems.
The recall affects 2,030 units of the Infiniti M35 and 171 units of the Infiniti M45 that were produced between November 2004 and April 2010, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The ministry said vehicle speed does not increase normally due to a defective acceleration pedal position sensor.
Free repairs will be available at Nissan Korea service centers across the country, the ministry said. (Yonhap)
