Porsche Cayenne got a little brother - Macan.

Macan was the most talked new car in 2013 in the auto world. Spy Shots when it was on testing at an American Desert.

After the Tokyo Motor Show now the Macan is in lime light. The Macan is 165mm smaller than its big brother Cayenne. From the large family of VW group Macan is identical to the Audi Q5. This is not surprising, because both machine is sharing the chassis with a steel body and front and rear suspensions.

The car will be available in 3 variants at launch. Basic Porsche Macan S is having 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 engine with torque 460NM and a power of 340hp. Macan Turbo is loaded with a 3.6L twin turbo 6 Cylinder engine producing 400hp with 550nm torque. Both these engines can accelerate from 0-100 in 5.4 or 4.8 seconds.

The third one is a turbo diesel 3.0 liter twin turbo engine generates a power only 258hp but a greater torque of 580Nm. Where both petrol variants are available from April 2014, the diesel production is estimated from 2015 onwards only. 

All these models are only available in 4 wheel drive mods with a 7 speed dual clutch transmission system.
